Thomas (0301) is believed to have been born in Belfast, but settled in Dublin. He married twice. By his first marriage, to Susan Moore, he had two sons and a daughter. By his second, to Edith Ann, daughter of Robert Ratcliffe Lindsay by Annie O’Neil of Shane’s Castle, Co. Antrim, he had four sons and a daughter. He was living in 1916.
