Aged 12 1/2 years, who has been nominated
for a Royal Navy cadetshlp after passing the
necessary examination. Young Sandes will
leave Sydney tomorrow for the Royal Naval
College at Osborne, where he is to undergo a
course of educational training for the Navy.
He is a son of Mr. John Sandes, the well-
known Journalist, author, and poet, and a
grandson of the late Sir Graham Berry, Pre-'
mler of Victoria for many years.
