Lineage. This family
descends from JOHN SANDES,
of Moyvane, co. Kerry. J.P.,
3rd son of John Sandes, and Mary Blennerhassett, his wife (see
SANDES, of Sallow Glen). He m. Mary, dau. of William Gough, of
Toureen, co. Limerick, and Agnes his wife, dau. of George Rose (see
ROSE of Ahabeg). She d. 26 Sept. 1793, leaving issue,
   1. GEORGE, of whom presently.
   2. Thomas, of Woodpark, co. Kerry, m. Margaret, dau. of John
   Kittson, of Derry, co. Kerry, and Sarah, his wife, dau. of Edward
   Creed, of Ballynanty, co. Limerick. She d.s.p. 5 Jan. 1833.
