Issue of Robert Dalrymple Sandes (0004) and Ruby Hilda Lamb:
Lancelot Dalrymple (-0105) served in the Royal Tank Regiment and in the Royal Air Force, and was awarded the DFC.
Robin (-0106) was born in 1915 and lived for many years in South Africa, where I contacted him in the phone book in Capetown. He married Audrey by whom he had two children. He died in September 1990 at Limington, Somerset.
Raymond Horatio (-0107) served in the Royal Engineers in 1942-43 with 51 London Division from El Alamein to Trieste. In 1948 he transferred to the Royal Army Service Corps, retiring in 1953. He married Margaret Miriam Duncan, by whom he had a son.
