FASHIONABLE WEDDING.
SANDES—BLACK.
A wedding that has attracted no little
attention for some time past was
solemnized on Wednesday afternoon
by the Rev. J. Alldis at "Tynron
House," when Dr. F. P. Sandes, of
Sydney, was united in wedlock to
Miss Alice, third daughter of Alder-
man John Black, J.P., Mayor of
Molong. The wedding was of a
private character, only a few intimate
acquaintances besides the immediate
relatives being present. The company
included Mr. and Mrs. John
Black (parents of the bride), Mr. W.
and Miss A. Black (Cumnock), Miss
Sandes (Sydney), Miss Belle Black,
Mr. W: Black (Bogan Gate), Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Black, Mr. Hector
Black, Mrs. Geo. Black (Grenfell),
Mr. L. S. and Miss Veech (Welling-
ton), Miss Marriott (Orange), Dr.
and Mrs. Veech, Misses Haslam, Mr.
and Mrs. J. D. Day, Miss Keay, Miss
Spencer, Mr. E. G. Wiseman and Mr.
Crockett. The bride was married in
her travelling dress — a neat and
becoming costume of Wedgwood
blue voille, trimmed with twine
colored insertion and satin ribbon',
and hat to match. She also
wore a flexible cable, bangle and
diamond ring, gifts of the bridegroom.
