Married (1) Helen Hurley in 1909 in Omaha, Nebr. They were the adoptive parents of Leo Allen Dermody (#97128304). Married (2) Mrs. Mary (Sandes) Maurice in 1935, also in Omaha. According to his burial card he died at St. Catherine's hospital on April 6, 1947, age 63 years, and was buried April 9.

Services Wednesday for Dr. Leo Dermody

Services for Dr. Leo (Al) Dermody, 63, Omaha surgeon, will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from John A. Gentleman Mortuary in St. Peter's Church at 9. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Dr. Dermody died Saturday at a hospital. He had been ill since October, 1946. A graduate of Creighton University Medical School, he had been in semi-retirement since 1931. The Dermody home is at 3115 Jackson Street.

Survivors: Wife, Mary C.; son, Leo Allen, Taylor, Tex.; brother, William, Houston, Tex. The rosary recitation will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

DR. LEO DERMODY DIES
Services for Dr. Leo (Al) Dermody, 63, who died Saturday in an Omaha hospital, will be held Wednesday at the Gentleman Mortuary and St. Peter's church in Omaha. He had been ill since October, 1946. He was born in Elm Creek and attended school here and will be remembered by many of the older residents. Dr. Dermody is survived by his wife, one son, and one brother.
