Issue of Charles Lancelot Sandes of Carrigafoyle and Kilcavan (0301) and Mary Coote:

Charles of Carrigafoyle and Morgans, and of Clontarf, Co Dublin (0201) was a JP and a Captain in the 89 th (Princess Victoria’s) Regiment of Foot, later The Royal Irish Regiment. In 1842 he married Isabella Georgina, daughter of Ralph Carr of Cocken Hall, Co Durham, by whom he had three sons. In 1856 he married secondly Mildred, only daughter of William Brown of Spring Mount, Co Limerick, by whom he had six children. He was a well known dog breeder and also coursed greyhounds.

Henry Ralph (0202) was born in 1829. In 1846 he was admitted to Trinity College, Dublin, but did not apparently graduate.

Elizabeth Anne (0203) was married to Henry Trench of Glenmalire, Queen’s County, in 1838.

Mary Sarah (0204) was married to Lewis Moore of Cremorgan, Queen’s County.
