Issue of Charles Sandes of Carrigafoyle, Morgans and Clontarf (0201) and Isabella Carr:
Lancelot Charles (0101) was born on 19 April 1846, and with his brothers emigrated to USA about 1880-85. He married Emma Appleton by whom he had six children. At one time he was living in Omaha, Nebraska. See also Annexure H, about his possible time in the British army.
Ralph George (0102) was born in 1847, and William Henry (0103) in 1849. Ralph returned from USA to Ireland and practised as a solicitor in Belfast.
Note: This is incorrect. Prior to the birth of Lancelot Charles was a brother Charles Lancelot who omitted from 'Pedigree H - Sandys of Cumberland'. It was he who was in the Army and married Emma Appleton.
